Skills taught: | Skills that we will cover during the week: -improvement off-piste techniques, -how to evaluate and deal with risks off-piste. -Avalanche recovery-use of transceiver, shovel and probe. |

Monday : |
We start at Le Tour , which offers some ideal off-piste routes to reacquaint yourself with the mountain such as “ la combe des Jeurs”. |
Tuesday : |
We follow this with the Brevent ski area, where the slopes are sunny with a view of Mont-Blanc. The Link with Flégère gives us a huge range of off-piste possibilities. |

Wednesday : |
We are based at the famous Grands Montets ski area. This vast area of off-piste is situated in the shadow of the Aiguille Verte, keeping the snow fresh long after other areas. There are numerous glacial descent which allow us to develop our awareness and techniques in crevasse territory. |
Thursday : |
We go through the Mont Blanc tunnel to access the 3462 Toule glacier, the Italian side of Mont Blanc. During the course of the day we can ski several 1000 metre descents. |
Friday : |
To finish this off piste skiing course in Chamonix , the 24 km descent of the Vallée Blanche takes us though the the heart of the biggest glacial area in the French Alps. The adventure starts at 3842 m on the Aiguille du Midi to finish some 2800 m lower in Chamonix. |
